2. How We Use Your Information We use the information we collect to: Provide, operate, and maintain the Dashboard. Authenticate user access through our login portal. Improve the functionality and performance of the Dashboard. Communicate with you about updates, changes, or support inquiries. Ensure security and prevent fraud. Comply with legal obligations.
a. Policyholder Data Usage: If you upload or import policyholder data, we use it exclusively to generate reports, track commissions, and provide insights within your dashboard. We do not use, sell, or share this data with any third parties for marketing, personal enrichment, or enrollment purposes. Your policyholder data remains private and is only accessible to you and authorized users within your organization.
b. Data Deletion: You may request the deletion of imported policyholder data at any time by contacting us at info@policy-sync.com. Upon request, we will permanently remove the data from our systems, except where retention is required for compliance with legal, regulatory, or operational obligations.

3. How We Share Your Information We do not sell your personal information or dashboard info to anyone. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
a. Service Providers We may share information with third-party vendors and service providers that perform services on our behalf, such as Memberstack for user authentication.
b. Legal Obligations We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests, such as subpoenas or court orders.
c. Business Transfers In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the new entity.

4. Data Security We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.
a. Data Retention: We retain your information only as long as necessary to provide services and fulfill business or legal obligations. If you close your account, we delete your personal and all uploaded data within 5 days unless required for compliance or dispute resolution.

Delete: You can request the deletion of your personal information, subject to our need to retain certain information for legal or operational purposes.

6. Children’s Privacy The Dashboard is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. While PolicySync does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children, we recognize that policyholder data uploaded by users may include dependent or child information as part of insurance enrollments.

7. Third-Party Links The Dashboard may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information. To protect privacy, any child-related data imported into the Dashboard is automatically obscured or masked where possible. This means sensitive identifiers (such as, Social Security Numbers, or birthdates) are not visible in reports or exports.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy on the Dashboard. Your continued use of the Dashboard after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
